Adopt a Poodle (Miniature)

Hi my name is Estelle Getty. I know I know I’m a boy but when I first came to SAAP I was so matted and dirty that they thought I was a girl and so I became Estelle. Once given a SAAP name and microchip I will always be known as Estelle, but you can name me anything you see fit. I really don’t mind being called Estelle because truthfully I can’t hear and I don’t see very well either. When the amazing people saved me I was not in very good condition and I was very misunderstood. Some people thought I was mean and vicious, but I’m not at all. Foster mom says I’m a love bug, I love to give kisses and when you come home after a long day at work I will dance and wiggle around for your love and attention. At the vet I was very scared and acted accordingly, but in my foster home I’m such a sweet lovable little guy. And I am little only weighing about 12 pounds so I won’t take up much space. I love to cuddle, snuggle and I’m learning to play with toys. Oh and did I tell you, I’m a senior, so I’m pretty special. I take a little time to warm up to my new surroundings and I need to handled gently, my old body aches sometimes and if your not easy and gentle picking me up I get scared. As soon as I warm up I’m a happy, bouncing loving boy! I'm potty trained and utd on my shots. Foster mom hasn’t put me in a crate because I’m a really good boy and don’t need one. I like to sleep on my bed and just be with my people. So if you think you might have a little spot for a senior dude like me you can put in an application at stray animal adoption program, just ask for Estelle. Because of my hearing and vision foster mom thinks it’s best I do not attend regular adoption events because they are scary for me, so you’ll need an approved application to meet with me. Can’t wait to meet my furever family!
